About

This new studio, situated in a secluded courtyard in Nijmegen, replaces a dilapidated industrial shed. The new building houses an office space with studio and a cooking lab for the development of culinary products. It combines the client’s profession and his passion. The building is entirely prefabricated and sheathed in a second skin constructed with a greenhouse glazing system. The grass-green screen print adds a spatial experience to the façade. This artificial vertical ‘garden’ blends in with the courtyard’s green microculture. The screen print was designed by photographer Tineke Schuurmans.
