NEXIT designed two spacious townhouses in the very heart of Arnhem. One of them boasts a full five storeys and includes a double garage and two generous roof terraces. The tall ground floor (3.5 m net height) and the monumental stairwell reaching to the top floor level lend this townhouse an impressive stature. All of the rooms at the front of the house are equipped with a bay window and French doors. The other house is built on two lots and boasts a whole 400 m2 gross (or 1500 m3). This makes it the largest home in this special BIY block. The double-unit width, which on the inside is used to create roomy facilities, is employed in the façade to break the volume into smaller vertical units, complying to the projected urban image that required façades to reflect a traditional division in narrow parcels Both townhouses employ the latest sustainable gadgetry and will have no natural gas supply.
